In Thursday's league match, the visiting Carlisle Chiefs basketball team scored a decisive 87-58 triumph over the Fishburne Military Caissons.

In their next game, the Chiefs meet the Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) in a VISAA Division III match, on Saturday, February 3. Carlisle will attempt to move on its 19-9 season record. The Flames enter the match with a 15-4 record after their 82-74 league win over Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA).

With the defeat, Fishburne Military moves to 1-16 on the year. The Caissons travel to Massanutten Military Academy (Woodstock, VA) to meet the Colonels in a non-league match on Monday, February 5. The Colonels enter the match with a record of 2-9. Massanutten Military Academy won 53-44 in their recent non-league match against Mountain View Christian Academy (Winchester, VA)
