California High School Basketball - Sonoma Valley holds off Casa Grande
February 1, 2024: Sonoma, CA 95476 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA) and the visiting Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA), saw Sonoma Valley's basketball squad hold off Casa Grande by a tally of 60-56.
With the victory, Sonoma Valley improves its record to 10-15 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Napa (Napa, CA) to confront the Grizzlies in a Vine Valley challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 8-17. Napa lost 70-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Foothill (Pleasanton, CA)
Next up, the Gauchos confront the Vintage Crushers (Napa, CA) in a Vine Valley challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Casa Grande will attempt to improve on its 9-16 season record. The Crushers come into the challenge with a 10-15 record after their 63-59 league loss to American Canyon (American Canyon, CA).
