February 1, 2024: Pulaski, TN 38478 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Giles County Bobcats (Pulaski, TN) and the visiting Central Magnet (Murfreesboro, TN), saw Giles County's basketball squad hold off Central Magnet by a tally of 45-40.
With the victory, Giles County improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Franklin County (Winchester, TN) to play the Rebels in a 3A District 8 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 8-15. Franklin County lost 52-41 in their recent league challenge against Lawrence County (Lawrenceburg, TN)
Next up, the play the Marshall County Tigers (Lewisburg, TN) in a 3A District 8 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Central Magnet will attempt to improve on its 13-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 60-57 league win over Giles County (Pulaski, TN).
