In Thursday's non-league outing, the DasCHE Spartans (Cedar Hill, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting North Central Texas Academy Pioneers (Granbury, TX), by a count of 51-47.

The Spartans (26-4) will now prepare for their outing against Trinity Christian (Addison, TX). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 19-12 record. In their last outing, Trinity Christian was tipped by Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX), 64-53, in a league outing.

The Pioneers now hold a 15-12 record. They play next when they travel to Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 6.
