Wisconsin High School Basketball - Menomonie can't hold off Eau Claire North
February 1, 2024: Eau Claire, WI 54703 The Eau Claire North Huskies basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Menomonie Mustangs to 45 in the Huskies league triumph on Thursday.
In their next game, the Huskies meet the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (Chippewa Falls, WI) in a Big Rivers match, on Saturday, February 3. Eau Claire North will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 1-15 record after their 72-59 league loss to Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI).
With the defeat, Menomonie moves to 6-11 on the year. The Mustangs travel to New Richmond (New Richmond, WI) to confront the Tigers in a Big Rivers challenge on Saturday, February 3.
