North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Grove Christian tipped by Faith Christian

In Thursday's league match, the host Faith Christian Eagles basketball team scored a tight 45-44 triumph over the Union Grove Christian Patriots.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC) in a NCCSA AA West Region 1 match, on Friday, February 2. Faith Christian will attempt to better on its 8-14 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 21-8 record after their 70-59 league win over Vandalia Christian (Greensboro, NC).

With the defeat, Union Grove Christian moves to 23-6 on the year. The Patriots travel to South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, February 2. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 10-19. South Guilford HomeSchool lost 65-64 in their recent non-league match against Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC)
