West Virginia High School Basketball - Frankfort overwhelms Moorefield
February 1, 2024: Moorefield, WV 26836 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) and the host Moorefield Yellow Jackets (Moorefield, WV), saw Frankfort's basketball squad wallop Moorefield by a tally of 86-47.
With the victory, Frankfort improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Falcons host Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV) to confront the Indians in a Potomac Valley AA challenge on Monday, February 5. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Berkeley Springs lost 52-45 in their recent non-league challenge against East Hardy (Baker, WV)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets confront the Pendleton County Wildcat (Franklin, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Moorefield will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Wildcat come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 55-41 league loss to East Hardy (Baker, WV).
