Virginia High School Basketball - Lake Braddock overwhelms Alexandria City
February 1, 2024: Burke, VA 22015 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) and the visiting Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA), saw Lake Braddock's basketball squad wallop Alexandria City by a tally of 63-34.
With the victory, Lake Braddock improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA) to play the Wolverines in a District 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. West Potomac won 66-38 in their recent league challenge against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA)
Next up, the Titans play the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Alexandria City will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 55-27 league loss to Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD).
