The Broad Run Spartans basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Loudoun County Captains to 36 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loudoun Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Broad Run will battle a Vikings team coming off a 91-62 non-league loss to Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-5.

The Captains (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Pride enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record.
