Virginia High School Basketball - Jamestown overwhelms Bruton
February 1, 2024: Williamsburg, VA 23185 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA) and the visiting Bruton Panthers (Williamsburg, VA), saw Jamestown's basketball squad wallop Bruton by a count of 62-24.
With the victory, Jamestown upgrades its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Smithfield (Smithfield, VA) to play the Packers in a Bay Rivers challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Packers come into the challenge with a record of 2-16. Smithfield lost 33-19 in their recent league challenge against New Kent (New Kent, VA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) in a Bay Rivers challenge, on Monday, February 5. Bruton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 52-26 league win over Poquoson (Poquoson, VA).
