The Central Bobcats basketball team (Phoenix, AZ), dropped 50-39 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ)

The Coyotes now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apollo for a 5A Northwest battle on Friday, February 2. Centennial will battle a Hawks team coming off a 63-54 league loss to Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 5-15.

The Bobcats (10-15) will now prepare for their battle against Fairfax (Laveen, AZ). The Stampede come into the 5A Metro battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, Fairfax dropped by McClintock (Tempe, AZ), 69-38, in a league battle.
