South Dakota High School Basketball - Waverly/South Shore tops Flandreau Indian
February 1, 2024: Waverly, SD 57263 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD) and the visiting Flandreau Indian Indians (Flandreau, SD), saw Waverly/South Shore's basketball squad knock off Flandreau Indian by a count of 45-30.
With the victory, Waverly/South Shore upgrades its record to 1-15 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Warner (Warner, SD) to play the Monarchs in a B Region 1 challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Warner won 57-51 in their recent league challenge against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD)
Next up, the Indians play the Tiospa Zina Wambdi (Agency Village, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Flandreau Indian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Wambdi come into the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 63-23 league loss to Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD).
