Wisconsin High School Basketball - Menominee tops Peshtigo
February 1, 2024: Peshtigo, WI 54157 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI) and the host Peshtigo Bulldogs (Peshtigo, WI), saw Menominee's basketball squad knock off Peshtigo by a count of 51-34.
With the victory, Menominee upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Maroons host Gillett (Gillett, WI) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 11-9. Gillett lost 59-24 in their recent league challenge against Lena (Lena, WI)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Kewaunee Storm (Kewaunee, WI) in a Packerland challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Peshtigo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 19-1 record after their 54-47 league loss to Oconto (Oconto, WI).
