The Northern Highlands Highlanders basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Ridgewood Maroons to 29 in the Highlanders league triumph on Thursday.

The Highlanders now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pope John XXIII for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Northern Highlands will battle a team coming off a 58-23 non-league win over Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ). The record now stands at 16-4.

The Maroons (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ). The Scarlets enter the non-league contest with a 10-10 record.
