February 1, 2024: Marshall, MN 56258 The Luverne Cardinals ice hockey squad scored 6 points and restricted the host Marshall Tigers to 2 in the Cardinals league victory on Thursday.
With the victory, Luverne moves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Windom (Windom, MN) to face the Eagles in a Southwest contest on Monday, February 5. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 5-12. Windom lost 9-0 in their recent non-league contest against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN)
The Tigers now sport a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tartan for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Marshall will face a Titans squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Titans record now stands at 3-14.
