Michigan High School Basketball - International Academy overwhelms Atherton
February 1, 2024: Burton, MI 48519 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the International Academy Phoenix (Flint, MI) and the host Atherton Wolverines (Burton, MI), saw International Academy's basketball squad wallop Atherton by a tally of 50-23.
With the victory, International Academy improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Flint Southwestern Academy (Flint, MI) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Genesee Wolves (Genesee, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Atherton will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
