Illinois High School Basketball - Addison Trail can't hold off Plainfield East
February 1, 2025: Addison, IL 60101 Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL), 75-72 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Plainfield East upgrades its record to 9-17 on the year. The Bengals travel to Joliet Central (Joliet, IL) to face the Steelmen in a SouthWest Prairie match on Tuesday, February 4. The Steelmen enter the match with a record of 2-20. Joliet Central lost 63-47 in their recent non-league match against Lockport (Lockport, IL)
The Blazers now sport a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berwyn/Cicero Morton for a West Suburban - Gold match on Tuesday, February 4. Addison Trail will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 60-22 non-league win over Clemente (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-19.
