February 15, 2025: Addison, IL 60101 Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL), 77-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Downers Grove South advances its record to 16-12 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Hinsdale South (Darien, IL) to face the Hornets in a West Suburban - Gold match on Tuesday, February 18. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 7-21. Hinsdale South won 55-44 in their recent league match against Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL)
The Blazers now own a 15-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leyden for a West Suburban - Gold match on Tuesday, February 18. Addison Trail will face a Eagles squad coming off a 61-58 league loss to Proviso East (Maywood, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 8-20.
