New York High School Basketball - Albany Academy for Boys crushes Portledge
February 1, 2025: Albany, NY 12208 The Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Portledge Panthers (Locust Valley, NY), 90-59 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cadets now possess a 16-2 record. They play next when they host Stony Brook for a non-league bout on Sunday, February 2. Albany Academy for Boys will play a Bears team coming off a 65-32 league win over Martin Luther (Maspeth, NY). The Bears record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Portledge falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to La Salle Institute (Troy, NY) to play the Cadets in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 2. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 12-3. La Salle Institute won 85-54 in their recent league bout against Cohoes (Cohoes, NY)
