West Virginia High School Basketball - George Washington thwarts Chapmanville Regional
February 1, 2025: Charleston, WV 25314 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) and the visiting Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV), observed George Washington's basketball team knock off Chapmanville Regional by a score of 54-38.
The Patriots (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats come into the non-league challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last challenge, Blazer was knocked off by Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY), 61-55, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Chapmanville Regional will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record.
