February 1, 2025: Stephan, SD 57346 Dupree Tigers (Dupree, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD), 88-66 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Dupree upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD) to face the Panthers in a B Region 8 match on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 9-7.
The Chieftains now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lower Brule for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Crow Creek will face a Sioux squad coming off a 72-66 non-league loss to Omaha Nation (Macy, NE). The Sioux record now stands at 9-5.
