Washington, DC High School Basketball - Maryland School for the Deaf crushes Model Secondary School for the Deaf
February 1, 2025: Washington, DC 20002 The Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) basketball crushed the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC), 67-24 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Orioles now possess a 19-0 record. They play next when they travel to Greater Grace Christian Academy for a Freelance bout on Tuesday, February 4. Maryland School for the Deaf will play a Eagles team coming off a 51-36 league loss to Rockbridge Academy (Millersville, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 10-6.
With the loss, Model Secondary School for the Deaf falls to 7-16 on the campaign. The Eagles host St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC) to play the Panthers in a DCSAA A bout on Monday, February 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 13-7. St. Anselm's Abbey lost 71-59 in their recent league bout against McLean (Potomac, MD)
