Delaware High School Basketball - Odessa sneaks past Middletown
February 1, 2025: Townsend, DE 19734 The Odessa Ducks (Townsend, DE) basketball edged the visiting Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE), 54-47 in Saturday's league bout.
The Ducks now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Pleasant for a Blue Hen Flight - A bout on Thursday, February 6. Odessa will play a Green Knights team coming off a 43-37 league win over Christiana (Newark, DE). The Green Knights record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Middletown falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Sanford (Hockessin, DE) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Sanford lost 45-41 in their recent non-league bout against Salesianum (Wilmington, DE)
