Delaware High School Basketball - Odessa nips St. Andrew's
February 8, 2025: Middletown, DE 19709 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Odessa Ducks (Townsend, DE) and the host St. Andrew's Cardinals (Middletown, DE), saw Odessa's basketball team nip St. Andrew's by a tally of 48-46.
The Ducks now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Salesianum for a non-league bout on Sunday, February 9. Odessa will play a Sallies team coming off a 67-60 league win over St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE). The Sallies record now stands at 7-11.
With the loss, St. Andrew's falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Wilmington Christian (Hockessin, DE) to play the Warriors in a Independent Schools bout on Monday, February 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Wilmington Christian lost 66-35 in their recent league bout against Wilmington Friends (Wilmington, DE)
