The St. Joseph Central Irish bounced the visiting Sherman Tide basketball squad by a final score of 67-35 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Irish clash with the Tug Valley Panthers (Williamson, WV) in a Freelance outing, on Tuesday, February 4. St. Joseph Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Panthers come into the outing with a 12-2 record after their 56-39 non-league win over Tucker County (Hambleton, WV).

The Tide (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV). The Raiders come into the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Liberty was overwhelmed by WestSide (Clear Fork, WV), 53-49, in a league outing.
