The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Vernon Rams (Mt. Vernon, IL) and the visiting Harrisburg Bulldogs (Harrisburg, IL), observed Mt. Vernon's basketball team overwhelm Harrisburg by a score of 74-39.

The Rams (22-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Orphans come into the South Seven challenge with a 11-11 record. In their last challenge, Centralia was routed by Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL), 41-24, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Murphysboro Red Devils (Murphysboro, IL) in a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio challenge, on Monday, February 3.
