February 1, 2025: Hatch, NM 87937 The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) basketball toppled the host Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM), 48-36 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Desert Warriors now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Silver for a 4A District 3 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Santa Teresa will play a Fighting Colts team coming off a 47-44 non-league win over Pima (Pima, AZ). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Hatch Valley falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Bears host Socorro (Socorro, NM) to play the Warriors in a 3A District 3 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-17. Socorro won 56-33 in their recent non-league bout against Bosque (Albuquerque, NM)
