Ohio High School Basketball - Waynesfield-Goshen defeats Lima Central Catholic
February 1, 2025: Waynesfield, OH 45896 The Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers (Waynesfield, OH) basketball were winner over the visiting Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds (Lima, OH), 45-26 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to New Knoxville for a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. Waynesfield-Goshen will play a Rangers team coming off a 38-21 league win over Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 4-16.
With the loss, Lima Central Catholic falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to St. John's (Delphos, OH) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 0-19. St. John's lost 64-26 in their recent non-league bout against Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH)
