In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Sully Buttes Chargers basketball team scored a close 52-51 triumph over the Warner Monarchs.

The Chargers (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Jones County (Murdo, SD). The Coyotes go into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Jones County was tipped by Bennett County (Martin, SD), 48-32, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Monarchs confront the Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Warner will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record.
