February 1, 2025: Walnut Creek, CA 94598 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) and the host Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA), observed Bishop O'Dowd's basketball team knock off Northgate by a score of 40-31.
The Dragons (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Highlanders come into the game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Piedmont was beaten by San Leandro (San Leandro, CA), 40-26, in a league game.
With the loss, Northgate falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Knights in a game on Tuesday, February 4. The Knights go into the game with a record of 5-15.
