February 1, 2025: Saltville, VA 24370 Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA), 32-6 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northwood advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Holston (Damascus, VA) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 1-6. Holston lost 28-19 in their recent non-league match against Honaker (Honaker, VA)
The Blue Devils now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rye Cove for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Castlewood will face a Eagles squad coming off a 38-22 non-league win over Castlewood (Castlewood, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
