February 1, 2025: Essexville, MI 48732 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lakeview Huskies (St. Clair Shores, MI) and the host Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI), witnessed Lakeview's ice hockey team defeat Garber by a final score of 4-1.
The Huskies (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last challenge, University Liggett got by Richard (Riverview, MI), 5-3, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Dukes battle the Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Garber will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record.
