Rhode Island High School Basketball - Wheeler fells Smithfield
February 1, 2025: Providence, RI 02906 The Wheeler Warriors basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Smithfield Sentinels to 48 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a non-league game on Monday, February 10.
With the loss, Smithfield falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Sentinels host Central (Providence, RI) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Knights go into the game with a record of 2-9. Central lost 59-55 in their recent non-league game against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI)
