Wisconsin High School Basketball - Wittenberg-Birnamwood fells Amherst
February 10, 2022: Wittenberg, WI 54499 Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers (Wittenberg, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Amherst Falcons (Amherst, WI), 57-49 in a league bout.
With the win, Wittenberg-Birnamwood upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Chargers host Marathon (Marathon, WI) to clash with the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, February 14. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 17-3. Marathon won 71-35 in their recent non-league bout against Phillips (Phillips, WI)
Next up, the Falcons clash with the Rosholt Hornets (Rosholt, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 11. Amherst will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 45-44 non-league win over Gresham Community (Gresham, WI).
