Wisconsin High School Basketball - Gibraltar holds off Peshtigo
February 10, 2022: Peshtigo, WI 54157 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Gibraltar Vikings (Fish Creek, WI) and the host Peshtigo Bulldogs (Peshtigo, WI), saw Gibraltar's basketball squad hold off Peshtigo by a tally of 49-48.
With the victory, Gibraltar improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Vikings host Sevastopol (Sturgeon Bay, WI) to confront the Pioneers in a Packerland challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 3-16. Sevastopol lost 40-37 in their recent league challenge against Algoma (Algoma, WI)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Gillett Tigers (Gillett, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 12. Peshtigo will attempt to improve on its 15-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 49-43 league win over Niagara (Niagara, WI).
