The Hampden Charter School of Science basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Mount Everett Regional Eagles to 57 in the league victory on Thursday.

The now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smith Vo-Tech for a non-league contest on Monday, February 14. Hampden Charter School of Science will battle a Vikings team coming off a 78-35 league win over Gateway Regional (Huntington, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 8-5.

The Eagles (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against McCann Tech (North Adams, MA). The Hornets come into the Tri-County - North contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, McCann Tech prevailed over Westfield Technical Academy (Westfield, MA), 47-43, in a league contest.
