Michigan High School Basketball - Columbia Central overwhelms Hillsdale
February 10, 2022: Hillsdale, MI 49242 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Columbia Central Golden Eagles (Brooklyn, MI) and the host Hillsdale Hornets (Hillsdale, MI), saw Columbia Central's basketball squad wallop Hillsdale by a tally of 53-20.
With the victory, Columbia Central improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Bedford (Temperance, MI) to confront the Kicking Mules in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 12. The Kicking Mules come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Bedford lost 46-37 in their recent league challenge against Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Ida Bluestreaks (Ida, MI) in a Lenawee County challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. Hillsdale will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Bluestreaks come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 54-33 league loss to Onsted (Onsted, MI).
