North Carolina High School Basketball - East Carteret overwhelms Lejeune
February 10, 2022: Camp Lejeune, NC 28547 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) and the host Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC), saw East Carteret's basketball squad wallop Lejeune by a count of 40-15.
With the victory, East Carteret upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Southside (Chocowinity, NC) to play the Seahawks in a 1A/2A Conference 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Southside won 51-29 in their recent league challenge against Jones (Trenton, NC)
Next up, the Devil Pups play the Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. Lejeune will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 0-18 record after their 51-29 league loss to Southside (Chocowinity, NC).
