In Thursday's league outing, the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) basketball squad beat the host Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), by a margin of 63-54.

The Rebels (21-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Dragons go into the AA Region 7 outing with a 13-9 record. In their last outing, Pepperell was topped by Model (Rome, GA), 50-26, in a league outing.

The Blue Devils now own a 9-14 record. They play next when they host Gordon Central for a AA Region 7 outing on Friday, February 11. Model will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 36-21 league loss to Dade County (Trenton, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-10.
