February 10, 2023: Anna, IL 62906 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the DuQuoin Indians (DuQuoin, IL) and the host Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats (Anna, IL), saw DuQuoin's basketball squad overcome Anna-Jonesboro by a tally of 56-45.
With the victory, DuQuoin improves its record to 11-16 on the campaign. The Indians host Nashville (Nashville, IL) to confront the Hornets in a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 19-11. Nashville won 43-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Okawville (Okawville, IL)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Egyptian Pharaohs (Tamms, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Anna-Jonesboro will attempt to improve on its 10-18 season record. The Pharaohs come into the challenge with a 3-23 record after their 73-32 non-league loss to Pope County (Golconda, IL).
