Illinois High School Basketball - Richards nips Argo
February 10, 2023: Summit, IL 60501 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) and the host Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), saw Richards's basketball team get by Argo by a tally of 78-75.
The Bulldogs now possess a 10-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stagg for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 11. Richards will confront a Chargers team coming off a 49-47 league loss to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 12-15.
The Argonauts (6-21) will now prepare for their battle against Fenton (Bensenville, IL). The Bison come into the non-league battle with a 22-7 record. In their last battle, Fenton edged West Chicago (West Chicago, IL), 58-24, in a league battle.
