Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), 62-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Thornton Fractional South upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Red Wolves host Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL) to play the Hawks in a South Suburban bout on Thursday, December 8. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 6-0. Hillcrest won 77-69 in their recent league bout against Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL)

Next up, the Argonauts play the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) in a South Suburban bout, on Thursday, December 8. Argo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 59-49 league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL).
