Illinois High School Basketball - Thornton Fractional South succumbs to Hillcrest

The Hillcrest Hawks topped the host Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves basketball team by a final score of 80-67 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Hawks face the East St. Louis Flyers (East St. Louis, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 10. Hillcrest will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Flyers enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 38-37 league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, IL).

With the defeat, Thornton Fractional South moves to 3-4 on the year. The Red wolves travel to Lemont (Lemont, IL) to face the Lemont HS in a South Suburban game on Friday, December 16. The Lemont HS enter the game with a record of 8-0.
