The Hilltop Christian Chargers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Bethel Christian Academy Trojans to 39 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.
The Chargers now sport a 22-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville Christian Academy for a NCCSA AA East Region 3 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Hilltop Christian will meet a Knights team coming off a 73-39 league loss to Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC). The Knights record now stands at 7-13.
The Trojans (9-19) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Patriots enter the NCCSA AA East Region 4 contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Wilmington Christian Academy was routed by Southeastern Christian Academy (Shallotte, NC), 69-59, in a non-league contest.
