Ohio High School Basketball - Firelands thwarts Black River
February 10, 2023: Oberlin, OH 44074 The Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Black River Pirates (Sullivan, OH), 62-46 in Friday's league test.
The Falcons (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Keystone (La Grange, OH). The Wildcats go into the Lorain County 8 test with a 10-10 record.
The Pirates now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Hillsdale for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. Black River will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 77-46 non-league win over New London (New London, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 8-11.
