Hellgate Knights (Missoula, MT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Butte Bulldogs (Butte, MT), 72-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hellgate upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Sentinel Spartans (Missoula, MT) in a AA Western bout, on Friday, February 17. Butte will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 56-36 league loss to Big Sky (Missoula, MT).
