February 10, 2023: Sidney, NE 69162 The Sidney Red Raiders basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Chadron Cardinals to 60 in the Red Raiders league victory on Friday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holdrege for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Sidney will battle a Dusters team coming off a 48-36 non-league loss to St. Paul (St. Paul, NE). The Dusters record now stands at 12-8.
The Cardinals (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Potter-Dix (Potter, NE). The Coyotes come into the non-league contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Potter-Dix prevailed over Hyannis (Hyannis, NE), 54-52, in a non-league contest.
