Nebraska High School Basketball - South Platte holds off Creek Valley
February 10, 2023: Big Springs, NE 69122 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE) and the visiting Creek Valley Storm (Chappell, NE), saw South Platte's basketball squad hold off Creek Valley by a tally of 71-64.
With the victory, South Platte improves its record to 6-13 on the campaign. The Blue Knights host Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE) to confront the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 15. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 2-17. Wauneta-Palisade lost 71-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE)
Next up, the Storm confront the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. Creek Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 38-36 non-league win over Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE).
