In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Wallace Wildcats basketball team scored a tight 41-34 triumph over the South Platte Blue Knights.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 13. Wallace will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 7-3 record after their 72-31 non-league win over Creek Valley (Chappell, NE).
