Illinois High School Basketball - Palatine tops Fremd
February 10, 2023: Palatine, IL 60074 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) and the visiting Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL), saw Palatine's basketball squad knock off Fremd by a tally of 60-42.
With the victory, Palatine improves its record to 21-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Cary-Grove (Cary, IL) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 8-20. Cary-Grove won 53-45 in their recent league challenge against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL)
Next up, the Vikings play the Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Fremd will attempt to improve on its 16-9 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 18-11 record after their 75-69 non-league win over Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL).
